Etherisc is working on insurance solutions built with Ethereum Smart Contracts and Oracles to automate the process of payment. They received one of the two main prices of 5,000 EUR and received the money directly via an Ether transfer.

Bernstein
Bernstein is revolutionizing the IP / patent market. A development can be securely documented before publication. They won one of the three runner-up prices of 1,670 EUR and received it directly in bitcoin.

Minebox
Minebox is a NAS that let’s you share disk space and get cryptocoins for it, which are in turn used to pay for your backups. They won one of the three runner-up prices of 1,670 EUR and received it directly in bitcoin.

Helperbit
Helperbit addresses direct insurance for earthquakes and direct donation to disaster areas without expensive money transfers. They won one of the three runner-up prices of 1,670 EUR and received it directly in bitcoin.
